Dr. Weiner is a therapist, consultant, coach and speaker. He is the founder of a consulting firm dedicated to helping families and organizations leave lasting legacies. With a strong foundation in Bowen Systems Theory, he specializes in the development of leadership principles that can be applied both to families and in the corporate setting. These common sense principles help families and organizations think clearly and calmly, make better decisions and live with purpose now and for future generations.

Dr. Eric Weiner worked for years in family and internal medicine as a therapist, educator and consultant. He worked with physicians on their relationships with patients and on the connection between health and relationships. Dr. Weiner is the co-author of the book “Making Collaborative Connections with Medical Providers” and author of numerous published articles in professional journals. His articles have appeared in newspapers throughout the country and he was quoted in the Wall Street Journal.

His current family therapy and consulting practice includes a specialization in consulting with families and their wealth advisors such as estate planning attorneys, financial planners, certified public accountants, and corporate executives. He is an experienced speaker and has given dozens of presentations to professional organizations in the business world. Dr. Weiner works to uncover the psychological and relationship issues associated with family wealth, leadership and legacy planning. His professional training includes a doctorate in marriage and family therapy from Kansas State University, and former academic appointments with the Medical College of Wisconsin and Michigan State University.
